Bitching.

I just love going off my birth control and having a much longer than normal period. Loads of fun for me.

But anyway, it's gettin' down to the wire and I do believe I'm nervous now. Not nervous about the surgery itself, but nervous about failing myself in the process. But I'm okay otherwise.

Helped my parents move their pellets into their basement today and got a nice arm workout in the process. Didn't think we would be done in time for 11 o'clock Zumba, but I made it! And it kicked my ass. But I remembered why I prefer the 9am class better, not as crowded.

Anyways, ciao!

  1. You are NOT going to fail. Honestly sweetie, it's something we have ALL thought. "I've failed every other diet how will I possibly succeed this time??" We've all been there. That's exactly WHY this time is different. You are making a surgical change to your body that will help you eat less. You still have to do the work of exercise and healthful eating. But you'll see, your band will be there for you to help keep you on track. It will be a constant companion to let you know that this time you WILL do it. Go into this knowing that you have help. The band is such an awesome tool, it will help you if you work it!

    See you Monday!! *hearts*

  2. Hey Megan. Will you be at support group on Monday??
Oh, Hon, trust me, I was terrified to fail. You won't; you'll see. In a few months you feel like a different person.

  3. Thanks Cat, I really appreciate it, I def. have been having more of these "moments" of doubt lately. So frustrating, cause I know I can do this in the long run. :) And yes, I will def. be at support group Monday, see you guys there!

  4. Oh yes ... we've all said it. Why should this time be different? Listen to the two masters ahead of me (Cat and Robyn) ... it will work - it's different for everyone but it will work !

  5. I wish we had zumba here. You will do awesome. It is a lot of hand work but makes the work a little easier...

  7. Very normal. I think everyone worries that somehow we'll fail at the whole band thing. As long as you're committed to the process, you'll do fine!
