Woo hoo! I'm finally in the 220's!! This makes me sooooo happy. I'm getting closer to my goal of starting the C25K program. :) I cannot wait to be in the 210's next, this is all very humbling for me. One day at a time. :) Not much going on this weekend, it's a bit too humid out for my tastes. Just relaxing, watching tv, surfing the web, maybe some reading. We're off tomorrow too, so I think I'll wait til then to do grocery shopping. Well, that's all for now, I'm bored and not sure what to do with myself.

BYOC and other things...

BYOC is 5 little questions we answer to get to know each other better and to give our blogging brains a break! Come join us & enjoy!!

1. Tell me about your first childhood home that you remember.

Def. on Creek Road, good old Perry County. We moved there when I was 2 or 3, so that's really all I remember. I grew up there til I left home when I was 20 years old. We had veggie/fruit gardens, pretty trees, a creek, then we added a pool. It's a one story ranch style with an unfinished basement. 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. It was fun, all the pool parties, birthday parties, sleepovers, flashing cars, freezing bras and so much more. My parents still live there today.

2. What is hands down your favorite color on this Earth?

Not really sure I have an absolute favorite, but for now, it's purple. :)

3. What kind of hair do you prefer on your significant other? Or what kind of hair is a turn on to you?

I like all kinsd of hair on guys. My main man has a short cut and he makes it messy usually. As long as it's clean, I don't really care. 

4. Now that it's you mow your lawn or does someone else? How long does it take you? Do you hate or love doing it?

We don't have to worry about that. :) One good thing about renting, it's done for you. Yay!

5. Repeat question: Summarize your week.

Well, it's been a busy one. Woke up Sunday to a 3.2 lb. loss, which was fantastic! woo hoo! Monday I wasn't feeling all that well in the nether regions, so I skipped the gym to give it a chance to breath. Tuesday was my usual allergy injections, so no gym time then either. Back at it Wednesday for some zumba, and again last night for some zumba. It's my one true love! I had my check up yesterday with Dr. Weiger, I got a small .6 fill. We chatted about a multitude of things, mainly my snacking and how high in calories for the day my snacks are. They are usually more than my meals combined. I need to get this under control, stat. He said if I can keep my net calories around 1200, I will drop faster. :) It's all up to me now. He also said he hates the fitness apps because when you log an exercise it gives you those calories back as if you can eat them. He said he absolutely DOES NOT want us eating those calories back. I usually eat a few, only because I eat dinner after zumba during the week.  The scale at the Dr's office only showed a loss of 6 lbs in 6 weeks, but my scale at home showed me down 9 lbs. I hate that, cause I go late in the day, so it does show I'm up from what I was in the morning. Oh Well. I need to be thankful, that's all there is to it, he said I'm doing great, just need to get my snacks under control. :) We're getting out at 3pm today for the holiday and we have off Monday too. No real set plans yet for the weekend, maybe go to my moms, maybe go to a friends Sunday, not real sure yet.

Yes, full blown yeast infection. Awesome. I'm now on Diflucan for a week. Then I take another one next Thursday too. Grrr. AND this lovely Dr. would like me to take a OTC Monistat 1 for 4 weeks after that, uh, how about that's like $84, nope. We're moving and I don't have an extra $80 laying around, being a woman sucks ass right now. I was so miserable after she gave me the internal, I filled my prescription, came home, watched a movie and passed out for a few hours; just so I could forget about the pain/burning for bit.

But on a good note, my BMI is down to a 38, yay! I'm technically NOT morbidly obese anymore, just obese.  But she brought up diabetes since I occassionally get recurrent infections. I will appease her and get tested within a year (her request) and see. I don't think she put two and two together and saw that I lost 60 lbs in the past year. Also, the scale at the office said 234, NOT cool. Oh well. No gym today, for the obvious personal reason (I think it needs a chance to air out, lol), and no gym tmrw because of my lovely weekly allergy injections. So, I will be back at it Wednesday-Sat. Hopefully this infection starts to get better over the next few days, although she said the Diflucan can take 4-6 days to work, talk about annoying!

Okay, that's all for now. Looking at the WLSFA Las Vegas M&G makes me jealous! I hope I can eventually make it some event like this. I will also be missing BOOBS this year, as I just don't have the funds.

I'm completely astonished and very thankful! I only made it to the gym twice last week, but I really watched my food intake and I believe that really helped me last week. 

I'm so close to the 220's, I just want to be there! And then I'm ready for the 210's as well. haha. And of course, can't wait to see 199!! The infamous onederland!

Not much else going on this week. I have a terrible yeast infection (I know, TMI, but I get them before or after my period, but this one is pretty bad). I think it's because of losing weight and all the hormonal changes. Ugh. I will be calling the doctor tomorrow if it's not feeling any better. Oh the joys of being a woman sometimes. 

Still waiting to find out when we can start moving some stuff into the new place, it's driving me nuts. That's all for now.

Not much going on. Just being busy with work, the gym, writing, wedding stuff, and moving. Woke up with my lovely TOM this morning, awful cramps! Ugh! I hate it. I've been in an awful mood all day too and crying about everything. Had to run to Rite Aid to get tampons, because I ran out, yay! NOT. Didn't make it up to my mom's, they were pretty busy and I wasn't feeling the drive with the way I'm feeling. 

Went grocery shopping, that was also annoying, people were getting on my nerves, which wasn't too hard to do today. Won't be making it to the gym tmrw/Tues, which bums me out quite a bit, so I have to be extra cautious of calories the next 2 days. Tomorrow I am planning on FINALLY getting back to the support group meeting from 6-7. Going to be a long day. 

Hoping this week goes fast and we can hopefully start moving some stuff in to the new place soon.

It's Tuesday, I'm definitely ready for it to be Friday already. I'm feeling like I have a ton on  my mind lately. I have not been the best bandster I know I can be (and have been). Just like in Cat's post, I have been reaching for the sugary/chocolately snacks even when I have cheese sticks, sunflower seeds, strawberries, things of that nature in my bag at work. I don't know why, but I'm really only like this at work. Maybe, because I'm bored? Could be.

I didn't lose and I didn't gain this past week, not good and not bad. But I'm not happy about it, obviously. I've been trying NOT to compare my journey to other's journies, but it's super hard. I think it's almost been 6 months since surgery (May 22nd) and I've only lost 34 lbs. 6 months = 24 weeks, 34 lbs in 24 weeks is damn good. I need to realize this and stop with the negative thinking. But I could be doing better, I know this. I need to get my snacking under control. I think a fill is in the works for my appointment on the 24th. I wasn't going to request one, but I really haven't lost a lot these past 6 weeks and I'm still hungry 2 hours after meals. Sometimes less. :/

I semi got offered a full-time writing gig, but haven't heard back yet about the pay, etc. It's a small newspaper that I'm currently doing some freelance work for and their full-time reporter is leaving for ABC 27 (my friend, Sarah). I really would LOVE to get it, but the pay has to be right unfortunately, it would be a hefty drive (about 40 mins each way), and winter would probably suck, and I'm still planning on starting school in October. We'll see.

I've been working out like a beast, which is not unsual. Saturday the 5th was the Diamond Dash, Brian and I didn't win, but had fun anyways. We did win a Blu ray of J. Edgar as a raffle. :) But I don't run quite yet, and let's just say about halfway through it I pulled a minor groin muscle, yay! And I could barely walk the past 2 days. But I was very proud of myself for not giving up. My asthma was awful and felt soooooo out of shape, but this time last year, I was also about 50 lbs heavier.

Not much else going on, still waiting to hear back about our apartment and when we can start moving some stuff in. Hopefully within the next week or two would be nice. Cause I just realized the other night that the weekend before June 1st is Memorial Day weekend, so people won't be able to help move. So, preferably this weekend or next would be ideal to do the small stuff.

BYOC. It's been a while.


It's FRIDAY!  Thanks to Draz we have BYOC!  A day to give our bloggy brains a break and get to know one another better!  Copy to your blog and fill in your answers if you want!  Enjoy!

1. Do you have any Mother’s Day traditions? • Usually, no. But I do go up to my mom's house and spend some time with family.

2. Do you take a daily vitamin? Why or why not?

• I do. I take a multivites adult gummy vitamin, well 2 of them every day. And occassionally I take 2 pre-natals. It was recommended by my gyno, if I want to have kids someday.  

3. Do you wear perfume every day? If yes, what kind?

• Not perfume, but body spray, yes. I have about 5 different scents from Bath & Body that I wear. And my perfume's that I prefer are Escada, DKNY (green apple), or Armani

4. When you walk or run or work out outside – what do you take with you?

• Oh lordie, I'm so un prepared usually. If I'm walking (not into running, yet), I usually take a bottle of water and my music. I don't really work outside, per se, we have no garden, etc. We live in an apartment, so the mowing is taken care of for us. :D

5. Repeat question. Summarize your week.
It's been a short one, went pretty fast, but Monday never feels that way. Doing MUCH better with my food intake this week. I'm still struggling I feel a bit more than I should be. I track every thing religiously in MFP every single day. I work out usually every day but Tuesday's right now (allergy injections prevent this). I'm still hitting around 1300-1500 calories a day WITH my exercise counted for in there as well. I feel like this is too much. Even though it does tell me I will be 10 less lb's in 5 weeks if I keep that up. But I feel like I should be eating less snacks still, very frustrated with my snack intakes. :( Not always the healthiest, but even when I do incorporate fruit/veggies into snacking, I still eat 500-1000 calories in snacks, WAY too many. Ugh!!! Tomorrow is busy, Mary Kay party from 1-2 in Lemoyne, then a baby shower at 3 in Carlisle. Possibly hittin' up the Diamond Dash at city island (we got accepted, just don't know if we're doing it yet). I did it last year and it was a lot of fun, but it poured! lol. Tonight, probably just relaxing after zumba, making dinner, laundry, etc.
